Dado Banatao, Chairman
Mr. Banatao is the managing partner of Tallwood Venture Capital. With his past experiences as an entrepreneur, Dado provides Tallwood with a unique perspective. As an engineer, he is credited with developing several key semiconductor technologies and is regarded as a Silicon Valley visionary. As an investor, he has a keen sense of trends and opportunities involving technology solutions for computing and communications.

Prior to forming Tallwood, Dado was a venture partner at the Mayfield Fund. He has co-founded three technology startups, S3 (SBLU), Chips & Technologies (INTC), and Mostron. He has also held positions at National Semiconductor, Seeq Technologies, Intersil, and Commodore International. In 1997, he was honored with the prestigious Master Entrepreneur of the Year Award sponsored by Ernst & Young, Inc. Magazine, and Merrill Lynch Business Financial Services.

Dado serves as Chairman for Marvell Technology Group (MRVL) and current Tallwood portfolio companies. He also served as Chairman and led investments in Acclaim Communications, acquired by Level One (INTC), Newport Communications, acquired by Broadcom (BRCM), Cyras Systems, acquired by Ciena (CIEN), and Stream Machine, acquired by Cirrus Logic (CRUS).

Dado holds a B.S.E.E., cum laude, from the Mapua Institute of Technology in the Philippines and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stanford University.

Richard Pepin, CEO
Richard Pepin brings to Peleton over 17 years of diverse management experience in both large public and small private companies. He most recently served as Vice-President of Engineering and CTO for Sanmina-SCI where he spearheaded the development of communications products for major wireline and wireless customers. Previously, Mr. Pepin spent four years with Ceyba, an optical networking private company, where he held the positions of Vice-President, Sales and Marketing and Vice-President, Operations. Prior to that, Mr. Pepin held increasingly responsible management positions with Nortel Networks, culminating his career with them as Director of Business Operations and New Product Introduction for the Optical Networks division. Mr. Pepin also served four years with IBM, and was a key contributor to the development of optical transceivers for LAN and storage applications.

Cyril McKelvie
As Executive Vice President,Global Operations and Engineering Services, with BreconRidge Manufacturing Solutions, Mr. McKelvie brings many years of telecommunications operations and manufacturing experience to Peleton. Prior to BreconRidge Manufacturing Solutions, Mr. McKelvie held the position of General Manager with GSI Lumonics, Nepean Optics. Mr. McKelvie was also an Assistant Vice-President at Newbridge Networks where he held a number of key positions in both R&D and Operations. In these roles, Mr. McKelvie was instrumental in building Newbridge's New Product Introduction process from its earliest inception.

Mr. McKelvie then joined JDS Uniphase as Vice President of Operations where he was responsible for manufacturing, supply chain and operations process management. In this role, he successfully grew JDS Operations by more than 200% a year in both revenue and profitability. His career includes time at DuPont of Canada, Circo Craft (now VIA Systems) and he has taught New Product Introduction courses at a number of undergraduate engineering programs. Mr. McKelvie has a BASc. in Chemical Engineering from Dalhousie University.

Scott Marshall
Mr. Marshall is a private investor and senior vice president of engineering & product management for Redback Networks Inc, a leading provider of next-generation broadband networking equipment acquired by Ericsson in January 2007. Prior to joining Redback Networks he served as president and chief executive officer of optical start-up Ceyba Corporation. Previous to Ceyba, he served as a group vice president of Cisco Systems with responsibility for seven key business units, including the individual units for DSL, wireless, Voice over IP, integrated access devices, multi-service switching, cable and dial remote access server and concentrators. Mr. Marshall also was executive vice president of research and development and product management of Newbridge Networks, after working in several R&D and product management roles from the company's inception. Previous to Newbridge, Marshall held a number of senior technical roles at Mitel and Nortel. Mr. Marshall holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Pat Shea
Patrick R. Shea is an entrepreneur by nature, with extensive knowledge in the establishment, management and financing of fast growth companies. He is actively involved in several investments in the high tech and other sectors, as a board member and senior executive in many cases. Mr. Shea was a co-founder, CEO and Chairman of Zenastra Photonics Inc. (formerly Nu-Wave Photonics), a photonics startup initiative. Mr. Shea was also Vice-Chairman of Avantas, a Montreal based successful startup, focusing on the test, instrumentation and network assurance aspects of photonics and communications systems. Mr. Shea was the President of Taima Corp, a highly successful call center focused on internet technical support, with a staff of 2000 people. In the mid-1980's, Mr. Shea was the co-founder, CEO and Chairman of The PSC Communications Group (PSC), a high tech systems, consulting and OEM training company, which he positioned as Cisco's number one training partner worldwide. Mr. Shea has also served on the board of several other companies such as Idacom (test and instrumentation), American Networks (transportation) and Northland Systems (technical training). Mr. Shea started his career at Bell Canada and also spent some time at Royal Trust, focusing on communications and information systems.
